Subject to the following regulations, the organizer owes the participant the implementation of the booked event within the previously announced time frame. The organizer reserves the right to postpone the event or parts of it. The training is prepared and carried out by qualified people. The organizer assumes no liability for the topicality, accuracy and completeness of the conference documents and/or the event content. Furthermore, the organizer assumes no guarantee that a specific success will occur as a result of participation in the event. If there is an important reason or restrictions due to epidemics etc., in particular if the speaker is canceled or the number of participants is too low, the organizer can cancel the event and terminate the contract extraordinarily. In this case, the parties' mutual performance obligations no longer apply and the participant receives back any remuneration already paid. Claims for reimbursement of travel and/or accommodation costs as well as loss of work are excluded unless these costs were caused by intentional or grossly negligent behavior on the part of the organizer. Registered participants will be informed immediately about any significant changes to the course of the event or about the cancellation of the event. If you cancel by December 31, 2023, a processing fee of $50 is due; after that, the participation fee is due in full even if you do not participate. Fees for events with separate participant fees and a limited number of participants (e.g. workshops and seminars) will not be refunded due to the limited number of participants, unless the participant proves that the withdrawal caused no damage or only a small amount. By registering, the participant agrees that their personal data will be collected and stored in the congress database. In addition, photos and film recordings will be taken during the training for advertising purposes and thus for publication in this context. "Force majeure" means the occurrence of an event or circumstance due to which it is impossible or unreasonably difficult for a party to do one or more to fulfill its contractual obligations if and to the extent that this party proves:
(a) that such impediment is beyond its reasonable control; and
(b) that it was not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was made; and
(c) that the effects of the obstacle could not reasonably have been avoided or overcome by the affected party.
“Force majeure” occurs, among other things, in the event of natural disasters, war, (partial) operational destruction, lockouts, strikes, epidemics or pandemics. If the organizer justifiably invokes force majeure, it is relieved of its obligation to fulfill its contractual obligations from the occurrence of the obstacle released from any liability for damages or other claims for breach of contract. The organizer will inform its contractual partners as soon as they become aware of the force majeure. The organizer is only liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence

Severability clause
Should one of the provisions of these general terms and conditions be or become invalid, this will not affect the effectiveness of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision is replaced by an effective provision that comes closest to the economic meaning and purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies in the event of a contractual gap.
